	Story Behind the Song This is my first composition. I composed it over a two-day period and cleaned it up over several weeks. I only wrote through inspiration and from what I already heard in my head. I have no music theory or composition background at all other than playing high school band and choir. Hopefully, it does not show too much here. This is a MIDI produced recording which means these are electronic voices which can never express the richness of textures found in this piece. I am proud of it for its dynamic interpretive potential of each instrument. My goal was to make it so that each instrument would be fun to play for a performer. Too, I attempted to make it so that if you took each dissonant chord and strung them continously you would have another melody (while listening see if I made it.) If anyone can point out if I broke any rules in the quartet structure, please let me know...
