	Story Behind the Song This song actually grew out of a "jam" session during our 1992 rehearsals in a chiropractor's office basement. First time we performed it live, I had no lyrics yet, so we did an instrumental version. For the story behind the song, listen to the "Live Again 2001" version. I scream as the weight of the twilight casts it's shadow over me I scream as I realize that we're not meant to be a whisper in the silence a whisper so out loud i'm whispering so softly still i cannot hear a sound the sound of your voice is calling out to me i can hear your voice so clearly but still it makes no sense to me...and so i cry... I cry as the light of day starts to catch my eye I cry as i realize that we're not meant to be... watching the sunrise on the horizon dreaming of holding you forever knowing that love will never come to pass between the two that have shared this time together...and then i feel... i feel like the hands of the world are clutching around my heart i can feel the rain and thunder douse out any spark watching the sunrise over the sea feeling the morning shine on you and me knowing that love will never come to pass between the two that have held onto this moment...
