	Story Behind the Song This song was written by Anthony Daniels, who is a RIAA certified platinum songwriter. Daniels wrote "Never Just For a Ring" on Toni Braxton's "The Heat", and also "Sweat Me" for Cleopatra. The song was written to say that even though people may think you are making a fool of me because of the life you led in the past, I'm willing to be the fool.
