Story Behind the Song
The computer takes center stage with this song. I
programmed it to play a guitar and synthesizer solo. My
custom MIDI matrix software also enabled me to program the computer
to play music on a scale that divides the octave into
eight equal parts instead of the standard 12 semitones of
equal temperament. I improvised on an electric piano
setting over the computer's tracks.
