	Story Behind the Song Our hitchhiker finds himself in the middle of nowhere. Still, he waits a few days before taking to the road again. Nobody seems willing to give him a break. He quits, drifts in time, and, when he begins to feel discouraged, chance smiles at him. Finally, somebody give him a ride. Swimming in his dreams of better days, he move further.
