	Story Behind the Song about a girl one of us dated that lived a good half hour and 4 freeway changes away... song was written at george's, about a girl named michele... it took a while, and was difficult to record... the background vocals aren't exactly the most in tune, but they work. :) Lyrics (verse) i finally got the balls to go up to that girl i met. she seemed a little down, and her frown equated upset. i said "hey, little girl, i've been watching you from afar..." she said "i know there baby, damn... i know who you are." (Chorus) She gave directions, asked what time to meet. I was so confused, so i asked "what street?" "What's wrong?" asked her beautiful and innocent brown eyes. She said "I live too far, all the way on the south side." (Verse) Whatever should i do about this distant girl? It seems like she lives on the opposite side of the world.
