	Story Behind the Song The intro to this song has been in my head for years-but it wasn't until late 2001 when the rest of the parts came together during a one week vacation spent staring at the waves of Laguna Beach. My love of Rush and Dream Theater is apparent in the heavier segments. Lyrics That's my friend James talking at the start of the song (he also plays piano on this track). I always warn people that this song takes quite a bit of patience to listen to and am always grateful when someone makes it all the way through. I tried to arrange the music like a John Irving novel-long and complex with plenty of detours, slow and dreamy in parts, a little humor here and there and plenty of dramatics. If you take the time to stream this, I hope you enjoy it.
