Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song when I was a senior in high school, living in Yankton, SD. This recording wsa taken from Five Star Diner's 1997 album 'Tavern Ticket'. You can find a version of this album at mp3.com/FiveStarDiner but if you want the original one check pawn shops in SD, NE, MN, and possibly IA. I have heard reports on one found at a used cd shoppe in Denver, CO. Sounds like some people did not like it as much as others. Cool. There were only 1,000 of them made.......oh those were the days, those were the days.
