    Story Behind the Song
I wanted to write a funny song that demonstrates my love for the greatest gameshow on the planet. So here it is.

    Lyrics
I grabbed some friends of mine and went out west on one fine Tuesday
To get to the destination of the wonderous, fabulous Burbank, CA
But we were blinded by lights reflecting off of Rod Roddy’s outfit
His suit so shiny really dazzled all of us dumbfounded

But when we all came to Rod called my name and I jumped up screamin’
Tripped over fourteen pairs of legs and came on down the aisle full-steamin’
I took my place and hoped I’d make it to that final showcase
Bob Barker then walked out and the crowd when nuts when we first saw his
    face

And I thought of what game I’d play
If I bid correctly on The Price Is Right today
And we all know just where we are
The place where you can win a brand new car

I was standing next to this Army guy in fatigues and a chick named Wendy
When one of Barker’s Beauties introduced a prize that any man would envy
A big screen TV, the audience told me to bid ten-fifty
But I knew better than that so I bid a dollar higher than the person before me

Wendy got really mad, but you can’t be nice is you wanna win stuff
Bob called me up on stage as if winning that television wasn’t enough
And what would I do if Bob gave me a game to choose
I’d probably pick the one with the mountain climber singing “Yodel-Ay
    Hee-Hoo”

But Bob revealed to me the Plinko Board
One pricing game that I was looking for
I am a contestant on the best gameshow, by far
I hope I can still win a brand new car

I’m not talking Jeopardy, Millionaire, or Let’s Make a Deal
I’m talking the gameshow with the One Dollar on the Big Wheel
I walked on up to it and spun it with my two bare hands
Then waved to everybody that was watching me in TV Land

I met the enemy after I passed the Showcase Showdown
Wendy was still pissed off, but I wasn’t afraid to give her the lowdown
That I would win and send her sorry butt back to poor Wisconsin
We both had placed our bids and were waitin’

Bob told me that I won and then Wendy became a real mean person
She yelled into my face but I stayed calm even though she was cursin’
The audience ‘booed’ her and they all took away her brand new computer
But Bob gave her the best advice to go home and have herself and her pets
    spayed and neutered

But up on stage all of my friends joined me
Smiling and dancing like some big, crazed gameshow party
And you should know, by now, just where we are
And you bet your ass I won a brand new car
