It swims around you like nerve-gas, invisible and lethal, penetrating the cloth of the shirt you hold to your face in panic; it penetrates your eyes, your mouth.
It's darkness, and CoolCapture has decreed: "There is Darkness". |

Story Behind the Song
This track was finally completed in a couple of hours today. I started and nearly finished it months ago but was never happy with the way it ended. I had planned to just fade it out - which I thought was a bit cheap, but I had no other ideas - until I hit upon the idea of adding delay to the drums to see what it would sound like. It sounded great! A bit of experimentation later and I ended up maxing out the delays on *everything* towards the end, to create a massive, hugely climactic ending.
Yup, CoolCapture definitely feels it *is* better to burn out, than to fade away. :-)
Well... for Darkness.
