A solid tune in 4/4 time. Standard hard chargin' blues rock all over. A bit of a sixties feel to it, just like the car it stands for. Get ready to move your head up and down to this one. |

Story Behind the Song
My brother and I used to get a kick out of Bob and Doug McKenzie's album "Great White North." On the album Doug does his impression of a Fairlane with a bad starter. I wrote this tune just after moving to California. I was amazed at all the glitzy cars on the freeway. I thought it would be cool to drive a restored "clunker" and "blow the doors off" the beautiful peoples' cars. We practiced and practiced this tune in the garage for weeks...one take.
