	Story Behind the Song The main inspiration for this song is my ex-girlfriend. I was really mad at her after a conversation we had. She was seeing things one way and I saw them another. Basically she had her own ideas about who I should be. In the song I'm leaving, but I just want one last chance to explain that the only way I see us staying together is in one of those corny old school cartoons where everyone holds hands, skips, and sings some simple melody. Hence the last lines of the song.
