	Story Behind the Song This song started out with just the melody riff. That is all I had for quite sometime. I played it for a great musician/friend of mine Matt Yium who expanded on the riff to lay down the chord progression for the verses, shortly after that Matt moved to Portland. He helped me focus the lyrics via email to finish the long-distance collaboration. The instruments were recorded in Dallas in July of 2000 and the lyrics were recorded in Santa Monica in the fall of 2001. The final mix was done in Dallas at the end of last year. The solo for the song is the first one that I have ever played for a Key song and it was done in one take, because I am simply that good.
