This is the last song I composed for my debut MP3.com CD, Balancing Act. I decided I needed something to showcase my rock side. Of course, it always has to have a twist. Satriani and Steve Morse fans, check this one out! | MP3.com CD: Balancing Act - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
The title for this song comes from the route I take to and from work - it skirts along the west side of town, just on the edge of the Rocky Mountains. The solo section (no, I don't consider the whole song a solo!) and the end section have a chord structure and rhythm that I borrowed and mutated from a Broadway song - look to the title for a hint! It never sounded anything like this on Broadway, I'll bet.
