	Story Behind the Song This Psalm speaks with confidence about a God who is supreme over all the trouble and confusion in our world, and is constantly at work to undo the harm the human race does to itself. Lyrics God is our refuge; he is our strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way, and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. There is a river that makes us glad, within the city of the Lord our God. This is the holy place, where the Most High dwells. God is within her; she will not fall. Come and see the works of the Lord, the desolations he has wrought on earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear. Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted in the earth.
