	My Mother lived her life for God and became an ordained minister. When I wrote this song I wrote it as if I were seeing the world through her eyes. She loved it so much she made me promise that when her time came that I would sing it at her funeral. Didn't seem like too much to ask at the time. So I promised her I would. Turned out to be the hardest thing that I ever had to do in my life. I kept my promise. I sang this song one last time for my Mother as they lowered her casket down into the ground. 	Story Behind the Song I was caught out in the worst storm ever the day I wrote this song. Thunder and lightning all around me. And to calm myself I started thinking about my Mother and how much she believed in God. I started singing the words that I knew she felt. Like I was seeing the world through her eye's. And that's how the song was written. She liked so much that she made me promise that when she passed I would sing it at her funeral. It wasn't storming the day outside the day we buried her, but it was storming inside of me.
