Story Behind the Song
I had been sitting on this one for a LONG time, and then finally got around to finishing the recording. And I had done some pretty dumb things to this to try and make it sound cool. I guess I was never really happy with this track, but then again it is part of my journey as a songwriter, and since it's at least half-decent, I decided to share. I hope it's at least mildly interesting enough, that you like it.
I at one point said this song is about people who'd hang out with you unless something better comes along. Maybe the meaning changed over the revisions. As long as it means something to you, I guess.

Lyrics
I'm looking everywhere
'cuz I don't know where you are
all I know is that you're gone
and I fear that you've gone too far
Here I'm trying to get into you, but it seems you're trying to get away from me
are you lookin' for some answers
will you find 'em where you are
or are you gonna do like last time
when somethin' better comes along
I'm lost without a chance of
finding you in the setting sun
should not have meant all those things
but now it's all said and done
Here I'm trying to get into you, but it seems you're trying to get away from me
are you lookin' for your answers
are you findin' out you're wrong
so what are you gonna do now
till somethin' better comes along
(Somethin' better comes along)
Did you find out all your answers?
Do you see now that you're wrong?
But still you're gonna hang around me
till something better comes along?!
