Story Behind the Song
If you've never been in west Texas you have no idea how much sky there is, and how far you can see on a clear day. That is the inspiration for this tune, and I think the expansiveness of the Roland VGA-7 with the Parker Fly expresses the sensation nicely. The chords I'm playing remind me a bit of Holdsworth and Metheny, not that I can play like those two gods.
