Story Behind the Song
Having travelled and performed in Scotland, I am a great admirer of the people and their culture. I wanted to write something, but it had to reflect my soul. I had grown up listening to this beautiful ballad-lament, so it seemed natural for me to use the tune as a basis for the composition.
