	Story Behind the Song This is the first song that Gene and I did where I actually started the song. Normally when we write music, Gene takes the song concept, which we usually have determined already, and he makes an arrangement to match the mood of the concept. In this case, however, Gene encouraged me to write a piece on my piano, which he then took and turned into the cool arrangement that it is today. He had seen these lyrics in my lyric book back in October, so he suggested we use those, and voila, we have one of my most favorite songs.
