Story Behind the Song
In this cue for the clip "Seduction" from silent film Don Juan (1926), I seek to emphasize the psychological mindframe of the characters through music-- rather than simply mimic their actions. Don Juan de Marena is a manipulative, sly and handsome man while Adriana della Varnese is clearly uncomfortable with his bold advances-- but will she succumb to his charm?
