Well, It started with this little hook that came in to my head ( best place for it to start...doesnt work with feet) and then..... I wrote the blueprint for this POP song in late 2001 and recorded a few rough demos of it. I then recorded some basic versions in several keys which I sang myself, as always as the guide for the guest vocalist on this version. Got the key right and went though my usual mix of nightmares and fun to create this song! This is mix 3 and probably does the song the most justice as a showcase for its potential out of all the mixes. I have just done the best with what I have, but of course I always realise things can be improved and no doubt will be when the song finds its destiny...But this mix isnt bad at all to disply the song. Its a bit more POP than dance and bit more laid back than many of the other tracks I've written for my vlove project...and not quite the usual 4 on the floor stuff..well, I need a change sometimes..and hey I do ballads too sometimes..Its a mood thing...Anyway, I have just sent the CDs of Could U B out to many TOP music industry names in the UK and elsewhere and my music industry contact seems to think I'll get a bite this time with this song especially and others of mine. I am promoting the song with the view of either Vlove(my Dance act creation) performing the final version or preferably a well-known name or act already signed. I know of several well-known artists/names this would suit. Whats important to me is that I get the song out there in the real commercial mainstream charts whatever it takes....whether its Vlove or an established signed artist & I think I may just do it!
