    Story Behind the Song
Motivation for the song and lyrics portray the view of an objective observer seeing the violence of the world what it really is. Acardia means born w/ no heart in Latin.Written in our practice room. Took about a month. Recorded in 30 min. in about three takes.

    Lyrics
    Acardia

A falling out of faith has taken away
Everyones sense of self and soul
Disillusioned with this world and life
We try to pull the reasons from nothing
    …at all

The path in life we take
    Self determined and our own
The system in which we live
    Teaches lessons of disconcern
No regard for the others that live
This is a culture of narcissism
In using of each other as a mean to an end
We are shunning our humanity and creating a schism

We have lost our identities in the grind of daily life
We are faceless beings living as pawns, lost in the wake of freewill

I have seen it on t.v.
    Explosions of violence
    Innocent blood is spilled
    A justified normal occurrence

Has individuality helped us out at all or has it turned us all against ourselves?
We turn our focus inwards and forget that there is a million others living and we are not infallible

Why do we hurt each other?
Why do we hate each other?
    Why do we stereotype?
    Why cant we live together?
