	Story Behind the Song For anyone who experienced the heartache of family dysfunction, and their parents divorcing-you will witness the pain for here it is reflected but also.... the fact that sweet release is found-within the strains of the song-such is the power of music... When I was a child, and things became unbearable-I would flee to the woodland area behind our little 10x50 trailer, and take solace from the stillness of the forest- I wrote this song when as an adult, I began trying to come to terms with all that had happened, and the song has brought closure of sorts-"Trails of Wood & Vine" took two years to complete--My friend, Reggie Hudson- heard the song-he said he really could relate to it-and so he came back two days later with an excellent sort of James Taylorish acoustic arrangement done, and I felt right away it suited the flavour of what I was trying to portray- This version was recorded on my mini-disk at home, and a new studio version is waiting to be mastered and will be downloaded soon-recorded and arranged by Drew & Chris LeGros. I am very pleased that the new version captures the feel of the forest-and my love for nature, and all it holds.
