Quartet; guitar, synth, bass, & drums. I've always loved this beautiful song and wished I'd written it. :) But, I didn't, so I got to arrange it, instead. | MP3.com CD: The Last Electric Guitar MP3CD - buy it!

Story Behind the Song
Sometimes, things just turn out right, and I had to do very little to to "fix" this recording. Three tries on the guitar and five "final" mixes, with some very helpful critique from extraordinary Muscle Schoals guitarist Pete Carr, whom I won't forget when his own solo effort is released. The original groove and synth parts are from a Boss JS-5, and I recorded it's parts into Logic Audio via MIDI and edited the drum tracks, especially. Then it was a matter of a few fills on the synth, and layering some sounds from the Roland XP-80 to get the "pad" sound that's mostly strings and an ambient "doo" sound from the vocal expansion card. The guitar is my Les Paul Elegant, of course.
