	Story Behind the Song This music "came spontanously" in the head, mind, heart, soul, and spirit of the composer and pianist, John David Thomas, as he sat at the grand piano in the residence where he has lived from 1991-2002 in the northern suburb of Indianapolis, Indiana called "Carmel" (1 block E, 1 block N of "98th & Keystone")...this was recorded in one "live" take, with a "live" mix...it was recorded in 2001 in the basement studio where the composer has lived since 1991...the actual recording was done in a short amount of time, once all of the "technical things" were worked out in the studio!! This title, "The Road of Life", refers to the long "pathway" that most people must travel down during their lifetimes...in the case of the composer, the path has had many obstacles...yet, he continually "progresses and evolves" in this "journey called LIFE"...in his PERSONAL life, in his MUSICAL composing-career and life, in his "quest" to find "the end of the Rainbow...", and to find "the woman of his dreams, wherever she may be!!
