"Technology Dub" | genre: Dub | |

Deep, heavy dub with a huge bassline and thumping drums, this track showcases some superb dub vocalizing and delayed drums. A strange guitar sample midway through lends the track a strange atmosphere. |

Story Behind the Song
For a long time now, myself and James had been thinking about collaborating on a Dub track. Despite both being big dub fans, this was a virgin venture for both of us, so we formed the notion that it would be great if it worked, and if it didn't, we would bin it, nothing lost.
James came over one Saturday, we had a few beers and unwound. I had set up the recording equipment in my lounge, where I thought we could relax. We chilled for a while over a few beers, spinning some King Tubby, and when the mood was right, I played James the tune and he started vocalizing over the top.
By the end of the day, James had written some excellent lyrics, put them into a tune, and allowed me to record him over and over again until we were happy.
We were so pleased with the result that we are going to do loads more. It is a fairly basic tune, but we like the way it works, so we will be committing loads more. Watch this space!
Lyrics
Too much.
Yes now.
There' too much confusion.
In this modern age.
Technology's the master.
And man, is the slave.
