    Story Behind the Song
    Y destroyed my first and unic cartoon horse cause, as I said to dady, I had to know what has a friend inside.
    After I learnt to see farther than what my eyes could have in front...
    This is the real story of my life in paralell to the most aged and beautifull tree we have at home: A CYPRESS - TREE.

    Lyrics
    CYPRESS -TREE BELIEVES IN GOD

    "Much obliged!" - Said to dady-
    caressing my pasteboard horse,
    my first toy, was a tiny pony,
    heart of paper, a dream aglow.

    I rode on him by childhood cradles
    throught the years, good lapse of time,
    till the day when he old felt tired
    root out itīs heart, itīs flame of life.

    "Why my child, why?" - Said my father-
    on stammers hardly I could decide:
    "It was cruel but I had to know how,
    how it was a friend inside."

    Afterwards I loved the cypress,
    itīs adust size, itīs dark green branch;
    straight to heaven as giant dagger
    fron earth to blue drawing itīs green line.

    I canīt see no leafs, no flowers,
    as no roots or wood no more;
    hopes in green, green of silver marble
    nest of dreams, of homeless, home.

    "Why Antonio ?" -Stil ask my father-
    but now well proudly I could decide:
    "It was hard but already know how,
    how it beats cypress inside."
