Story Behind the Song
jon had already written the music and gave the song the working title of "mole". i decided to write around that title. one night i was in the grocery store and was fascinated by a really pretty girl who was probably 15. i felt sort of sleazy so i wrote from a sort of a sexual predator underground theme.
Lyrics
what are my eyes doing here? my silken body gone underground. arrive in times eating fear. cold scraps and cloth are all i bring
to home.
doubled up and rearranged. broken prize heap. claws on to rake the scene i might as well keep pushing. no one hears the night like the blind might. stumble on my own inscription, laughing, leaking, sorry, nothing
positions fine for a while. like films it shines upon her legs. time bombs make noise why don’t i? sweat tasting earth grind through my teeth and down.
doubled up and rearranged. broken prize heap. claws on to rake the scene i might as well keep pushing. no one hears the night like the blind might. stumble on my own inscription, laughing, leaking, sorry, nothing
