	Story Behind the Song This song was written for my Audio Design elective class. It got rave reviews from my classmates as well as the digital design staff, so it might be good! Lyrics Come gather 'round my naive friends And idealistic youth. I've got a sad, sad story That reflects the sad, sad truth. A man from Manitoba bought a grizzly old wool cap And left his comfy home in the suburbs He honed a rusty axe and his intentions On the rock-hard ignorance of these words... No matter how ignorant or bright-eyed you may be Or how much sawdust clogs your eyes and ears, Axe heads will fly off the handle, killing those around, And leave you standing alone with your tears... The weight of the world will crush your spirit. This lumberjack could swing his axe And bite into the trees With such precision he could split A blade of grass or fleas.
