	Lyrics PART I PRELUDE TO FOUNDATION Instrumental [The Galactic Empire is in a full process of decay and a single person in the whole Galaxy is truly aware of it: Hari Seldon, the father of psychohistory - a science which, based on the introduction of the human behavior in mathematical equations, is capable to foresee the future. The Imperial Domination will be followed by thousands of years of chaos, after which The Second Galactic Empire will rise, more vast and more powerful. In order to shorten the reign of chaos, Seldon sets up two Foundations, two colonies of scientists, which he will place at the opposite extremities of the Galaxy. The First Foundation, based on the physical science, is set up on Terminus, a planet at the boundaries of the Galactic Spiral. But, the existence of the Second Foundation - formed only of psychohistorians and mentalists, capable of penetrating and even influencing human feelings - is held a secret.] PART II THE FOUNDATION [Time has passed pretty quickly and humanity passed the boundaries of its home planet, Earth, endlessly exploring outer space for new galaxies. Earth is left in misery and no one remembers it anymore. The galaxy is colonized very quickly and a great and prosperous empire is built. The new capital of the empire is Trantor, a planet fully covered in steel. The only place that remains uncovered are the superb gardens of the Imperial Court and the campus of the Galactical University, in which Hari Seldon is developing a science, later known as psychohistory. With the aid of mathematical and sociological equations, this new science could determine a pretty exact direction of the future. Seldon says to the Emperor that the empire is slowly falling apart and that, for many thousands of years, nothing but fear and chaos will rule over the galaxy. The only chance for the Empire to escape from this evil outcome is to build a Foundation, a society which could control the inevitable process of decay, reducing the period of chaos to a thousand years. The Emperor approves the project and gives the scientists a planet called Terminus, on which they can establish their Foundation.] THE EMPEROR IS AFRAID OF SELDON'S PROPHECY (Seldon): "YOUR EMPIRE FALLS TO PIECES AND WE CAN'T SET YOU FREE EQUATIONS AND PSYCHOLOGY ARE TRUE THERE IS NO LIE TEN THOUSAND YEARS OF WAR AND PAIN TILL THE HUMAN RACE WILL DIE WE CAN MAKE TEN THOUSAND YEARS A THOUSAND YEARS OF WAR BUT THE STARSHIP AND THE SUN WON'T BE AS POWERFUL AS BEFORE." (The Emperor): "SO SET OFF TO A PLACE WHERE YOU WANT TO REALIZE YOUR PLAN AND PRAY THAT YOUR FOUNDATION WILL SAVE US FROM THE END" TERMINUS THE PLACE TO BE TERMINUS ETERNALLY TERMINUS BUT WAIT AND SEE TERMINUS CONSPIRACY PART IV: A JOURNEY THROUGH MINDS Instrumental PART V: THE SECOND FOUNDATION [There are rumors which say that Terminus and the Foundation were just a decoy and that Seldon's true "control center" was a misterious organization called "The Second Foundation".
