	Story Behind the Song I needed a song to fit the tastes of the public, myself and my bandmates, who have many different inflences... Luckily it seems to work and I had the fitting lyrics, which are about myself sitting over an imaginary diary reflecting my life - bringing up regrets and evaluations. Some rather profound personal thoughts put in partly metaphoric lines. The song was written in village named Hürm - Lower Austria - Austria - Central Europe... home. The lyrics took a few hours, the rest some weeks. As it is one of the first songs I completed the writing and recording and learning process was overlapping, including the time I needed to learn to handle the instruments and recording utilities (I´d say MANY takes...). No one else really involved but me. It might not be perfect but it´s my baby... Lyrics Out on the race for oh so long - I can´t relax I can´t get down All my intentions drive me on - And turn the page I can´t get down - My mind is circling around Hold on hold me down - Put my feet back on the ground I take a time I sit away - Collect my thoughts that went astray I fill the pages of my life - I write the words And though my life may look secure - And I´m still trying to stay pure I ask how long can I endure - To feed the rage The book of life lies open - Written by me Remains of words unspoken - In it I see The white gave way to blackest ink - That breaks simplicities soft ring The good heart weak little boy - Has turned to ratio at cost of joy I face remains of how I bled - I turn the page cause I´m afraid I read the pages of my life - I read the words I can´t get down
