	Story Behind the Song This song was inspired by a typically rainy night in Vancouver. I was waiting for a bus at 1 a.m. after seeing an old friend with whom I had been out of touch for some time. The orange-yellow light reflected off the wet streets. The smell of my friend took me back a few years to who I was and where I was when we were close. I thought "Ghosts are wandering through the streets tonight". This would become the second line of the song. I wrote it off and on over the course of a month and it spelled a new musical direction for me. The bed tracks were laid down within 3 takes live off of the floor. I did the vocals more than that. It's actually a very demanding song to sing. In terms of genre, I have no idea where this song fits in. It could be jazz, pop or even classical - my background is in all three. So take a listen and you decide.
