	Story Behind the Song The words came out several years ago as one solid piece in the middle of the night, right before i left Reno, and reflects that time and place. Ashes is 141 BPM, and most of the sounds are originally from my beloved MonoPoly. The primary loop (zapkick and arpeggiation) was residing forgotten as a mislabeled loop on the EPS16+ harddrive. Once i got that loop and the vocals in the same place at the same time it all fell into alignment. Additional bassline from the Taurus2, vocal mutations facilitated by MoFX. Neurotic layout and manipulation in DP3. Grimy IDM-ish loop at beginning was an ASR10 glitchloop and Dr660 (using the tr808 kit) pattern and a little more of that chewy MonoPoly goodness thru the distortion and filter circtuits on the FilterFactory.
