	Story Behind the Song In 1997, San Jose Repertory Theatre commissioned Chris Cain to write an original blues music score for Thunder Knocking on the Door: A Blusical Tale of Rhythm and the Blues, by Keith Glover. Chris collaborated with Michael Butler and composed 13 original songs plus underscoring for the play. Their music earned them a nomination for Best Musical Score from the Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Awards. Used with permission from Michael Butler.
