	Story Behind the Song It was english class, first semester of 12th grade. We got into a debate about abortion. When I suggested adoption, the preppy popular girl behind me spoke up "I just can't see giving up nine months of my life just to give it up." I replied, "It's nine months of your life for an entire life of someone else." She didn't really get it, so I wrote this song.
