	Story Behind the Song A very close friend called... I was excited knowing who it was, they were happy, but every voice did not sound the same ... in fact it was the opposite of what I ever heard. It frightened me in many ways. I began to pray ... Lord my friend is very sick, very sick, and Jesus please heal them." Before I could finish my prayer The Holy Spirit gave me this melody... I just repeated what I heard to be an answer to my friends condition. You are Healed, Be Healed in Jesus Name. The lyrics are words out of the bible coming from the book of Isaiah 53:5 ... by His stripes You were healed. If you would believe my words, Jesus tells us, we may have that which we believe we pray for. Healing for my friend was what I wanted and I remembered this scriptured and said God your words said "we were healed by the strips, the beating that Jesus endured for every sickness, every dis- ease, we are to even have peace because You gave Your life in place of ours. " JOY", I recalled the scripture immediately after talking to my friend. Afterwards, within minutes my friend called again and sound theirself again. I later was told it was a blood disease attack but they stated I feel great, I much better now ... I told them the Holy Spirit assured this enemy that you were already healed by His stripes. Days afterwards I sing the familuar melody the Holy Spirit assured me. I was surprised by two things that happened during the recording of this song. HEALED!!! completely HEALED in JESUS Name. The second surprise was while wanting to record this song, I had no one to play the song for me. In walks Bro. Cheatham whom I never . Rev. Dr. L. M. Cheatham walked into the studio introduce himself by playing the keyboards... you can hear him playing organ and keyboards in this recording.
