Political, blues rocker. The rich get filthy rich and the poor go to jail! This corporate sponsored U.S. government spends more of it's citizens tax dollars on military and Weapons of Mass Destruction, than it spends on all social programs combined. Programs like, Social Security for the retired, Social Security for the disabled, Welfare, Workmans Comp, yes, combined! A great songwriter onced said, and we agree... "Tax the rich , feed the poor!"

    Story Behind the Song
An angry and importantly revealing political message. "It's Not!" is about lies and deception, sometimes truth is so hard to find, and especially from our
elected officials and media puppets during a crisis.
Not un-like a mirage, "It's Not! (It's not what you think it is, now is it?" )
It's a media circus out there folks, if you want truth you'll have to look farther than the five major oil-soaked multi-national media corporations. They only
have their own Fal$e Prophet (profits) interests and illusions of power at heart! Seems they would rather, than exercise their constitutional right of freedom of press, these giant mergered media deciept
merchants have found it much more profitable to lie and deceive than to expose the truth! Don't believe them! It's all an illusion! IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS, NOW IS IT?

    Lyrics
    #1. LIES AND DECEPTION
    POLITICAL DEFECTION
    SWAYING YOUR PERCEPTIONS
    WINING YOUR AFFECTION!
    I CAN'T CONCENTRATE,
    I CAN'T EVEN THINK STRAIGHT!
    THROUGH THE LIES AND DECEPTION!

    #2. THEY RISE TO DEFECTION
    A MONEY CONNECTION
    WINING YOUR AFFECTIONS
    SWAYING YOUR PERCEPTIONS!
    I CAN'T CONCENTRATE,
    I CAN'T, EVEN THINK STRAIGHT!
    LIES AND DECEPTION!

    #3. LIES AND DECEPTION
    A HIDDEN REFLECTION
TANGLED HALF TRUTHS AND FALSE PROTECTIONS
    WINING OUR AFFECTIONS!
    I CAN'T CONCENTRATE,
    I CAN'T EVEN THINK STRAIGHT!
    THROUGH THE LIES AND DECEPTION!

    #4. THEY RISE TO DEFECTION
    A NARROWED PERCEPTION
    LIES AND DECEPTION
    SWAYING OUR PERCEPTIONS!
    I CAN'T CONCENTRATE,
    I CAN'T EVEN THINK STRAIGHT!
    LIES AND DECEPTION!

IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS, NOW IS IT?
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK IT IS, NOW IS IT?

    #5. TIES TO DEFECTION
    A MONEY CONNECTION
    SWAYING OUR PERCEPTIONS
    STEALING OUR ELECTIONS!
    I CAN'T CONCENTRATE,
    I CAN'T, EVEN THINK STRAIGHT!
    THROUGH THE LIES AND DECEPTION!
