    Story Behind the Song
This song really emphasizes that without God we as a band are seriously nothing. No matter what you're doing in life, if you're doing it without God, you won't truly succeed and enjoy what you're doing. I wrote this song at my home and in the car at Joe's gymnastic practice in Lancaster, OH. It took us about a month to write the whole song, and we recorded it in about an hour at Sweetsong recording studio. God really blessed our time as we recorded it, and Steve Bogner is a great Engineer. We then went back in to the studio in 2001 to remix the song to put on the demo. Hope you enjoy!

    Lyrics
Before I get into this song there's one thing I gotta say.
Snowboarding's the coolest sport out there today.
So Hey! Lets get started with this thing
    Of snowboarders Jay and Kay.
Jay was pretty skilled but he had his bag filled
    with a K-mart board still.
Kay wasn't quite as skilled but he had his bag filled
with a K2 board that was built.
So Jay took the board out of his bag and was the first to go down
The slope and no speed did he lack as he went off of the ramp.
His misty flip was in the sack but then on the landing
His board cracked and he crashed on his back.
Now that Jay had gone Kay was up next and he stepped into his nice
K2 board and stood up erect went down the slope took the ramp
Did a nice 180 and tweaked with a tight heel side and
The smooth landing made it perfect.

Well I don't care how much skill you have
If you've got a K-mart board in your bag.
Better depend on the real thing
    Or you will never swing.

Now for some really dumb reason I guess you might think that we're good
    But really you should watch
To see if my tongue gets in a knot
As I try to explain to you otherwise.
See the size from the sides of the high rise speakers.
They're shaking the beakers making 'em weaker, meaker.
Yo are you a seaka (of truth)
    Or are you a freaka.
So you think that we possess talent but you have no idea
How much of our time we have spent practicing all of these songs.
We know that we havent been sent to make money and have fame
But he wants us to make a dent.
Without God were nothing at all which is comparable to
Lots of instruments in a hall with no one there to play them.
Were his instruments one and all. we have to let him use us
    To play his music overall.

Oh I dont care how much skill you have
If you don't have God in your bag.
Better depend on the real thing
    Or you will never swing.
