Story Behind the Song
Randy Bemrose, genius musician from Coast to Coast (who now currently is involved in some way with several bands...Danger Machine, Sexton Blake, to name a couple, and who is the founding drummer of Yellow Five, and owns and operates an obscene amount of skill on his solo hip-hop stuff, and Chris Koza collaberated on the music and lyrics to this tune after being simultaniously dumped by their former ladies. no worries. this song has been played up and down the streets of Northwest 23rd in Po-town, to the deserts of Nevada, the campuses of Poughkeepsie, the streets and crannies of Brooklyn, Manhatten, and the igloos of Minneapolis. and once for Alan Thicke. seriously.
Lyrics
Well, my life's a piece of shit, and I think I'm going to cry. Cause my guns lost all its flavor and the flowers that I gave her just died. Lucky numbers on the screen for me and I'm finally going to win. But my ticket burned low, blew out the window that was broken like me. Cause I'm broken, like your doorbell, when the sweepstakes come to town. And I'm busted, like a telephone wire in a five alarm fire, and all that you can hear is this sound... we're sorry, but the number you have dialed ahs been disconnected. Well I'm sorry I don't suit you I'm so boring I'm so ugly and lame. and as far as I'm concerned the only thing I've really learned is pain. I've got not expectations, got no pride. And I've got no reason to think that you'll ever be mine. Cause I'm falling, like your carkeys, when you need to be on your way, and Its likely, that I'll be singing this note like a record that's broke, my whole life is your shittiest day.
