Story Behind the Song
John (John David Thomas) was in a "good mood" and became inspired to compose this very UPBEAT and "hip" contemporary classical piece, using sounds of bassoons, English horns, and oboes ("double-reed" instruments) played by him on a keyboard (Kurzweil) in the basement studio where John David Thomas resides...this music "came to him" while he played the "figured-bass" pattern with his left-hand (the "ostninato" that repeats throughout the piece)...it was recorded "live" by him, all at once, in the first take!! The amount of recording time was not long, but John made many adjustments to EQ, compression, and the myriad functions and settings on the T.C. Electronics "WIZARD Finalizer" (a complex device used for "mastering"), before actually making the final recording!! He used a RAMSA Mixer (a 20 X 8 X 2) which is analog, but has parametric EQ (totally variable, adjustable). There are no lyrics at present
