A very slow anthem type song about 9/11.
    CD: Pyrate this CD
    Credits: Miscellaneous w/ Rebecca White

    Story Behind the Song
The song was written as a tribute to the tragedy on 9/11. Matt came up with a really awsome slow beat on the guitar and we decided that it should be about 9/11. We wrote the song in one night and started practicing it. We sounded like crap when we first started playing it because we weren't use to playing slow songs. It came out on the album really well though.

    Lyrics
I never thought I would see it
    America stand and be it
The place where unity ran free
Ran free for you and me
    Forgot greed, race, hate, religion
    People just kept on giving
    held out an open hand
Open hand for a grief stricken land

Today is just a new day.....(repeat)
    Just like tomarrow
    no more pain and sorrow
    be proud in humanity
for America I never though I'd see

I never though I would see it
    America stand and be it
The place where unity ran free
Ran free for you and me
I wish I could have been there
to help a blank confused stare
    tell them everythings ok
Because today is just a new day
    Everythings ok....

I never though I would see it
    America pledge allegence
    One nation indivisable
    Ignorance, is it curable?
