This is the "poppiest" of all the tracks on the demo. Some might even find it catchy, God forbid! (not mastered) |

Story Behind the Song
This melody came to me when we were recording the first track, Freak Angel, on my demo. My producer really liked it, so it knocked another song out of the system! I hurried writing the lyrics, they were put down in about ten minutes. Oh, yeah, and they're all about accepting God as something good in your life.
Lyrics
I wanted to hide
From dark clouds, cause I
I didn't want to soak my defences
No shelter around
My tears hit the ground
I had no choice but
Letting the rain fall
To give up this lost war
Then somehow I recalled
This is what I once wanted most
Now it's all coming back
This is nothing but sweet, sweet love
There is no good reason to hide
From a moment of truth
Such as this
I have nothing to lose
I thought I was lost
And I wouldn't trust
The truth when it was standing before me
Who would have believed
That anger and grief
could disappear in
just one split second
I have been awakened
With teardrops from heaven
This is what I once wanted most
Now it's all coming back
This is nothing but sweet, sweet love
There is no good reason to hide
From a moment of truth
Such as this
I have nothing to lose
This is what I once wanted most
Now it's all coming back
This is nothing but sweet, sweet love
There is no good reason to hide
From a moment of truth
Such as this
I have nothing to lose
This is what I once wanted most
Now it's all coming back
This is nothing but sweet, sweet love
There is no good reason to hide
From a moment of truth
Such as this
I have nothing to loose
