Story Behind the Song
10 thermidor was the end of the revolution. The brief vocal beginning was excerpted from a track called guillotine which featured Teresa going insane.
For the record, the committee of public safety was the finest group of musicians I have ever had the privledge of playing with. These recordings do not begin to hint at their abilities and, with Teresa in particular, any one of them have the potential to turn the world on its ear.
This was from a unique time in my life that influences me to this day.
The committee of public safety

Caroline Dillon - cello
Marko Djordjevic - Drums
