    Story Behind the Song
This is a song with alot of emotion for me. When I was in eight grade ... a private school, a school where I would sit down for assemblies, and then proceed to have the pastor/preachers tell me that they would rather be dead than my religion.

This was around the time when Jim Baker was cought, in being human. Failing. I'm not saying what he did was right, just I'm human, and I hope I don't get to ever understand what he went thru. Sure he let alot of people down, and gave a lot of people more fuel for the fire.

I've seen a couple "men of God" fall. Including the pastor of my eight grade private school, and a couple of televangelists. The funny thing is ... this same man stood behind his pulpit of power, and informed me that I was going to hell. He made me feel very guilty, when he couldn't even carry the weight he was laying on my back. I'm not saying that all pastors are bad, just hey I'm sick of the rules.

How may "rules" are tought by your church that are just customs of man? How many "docterines" are tought as gosple.

I worked for a Christian radio station for many years. I always found it odd how one preacher in the morning who was respected said that a certian behavior was totally spirit led, and another equally respected preacher in the evening would say that in fact this is of the pit.

I don't want to play these games anymore.

Following a man, a preacher, a pastor, what have you ... accepting what they say as truth.

Question everything. In the end it's your soul. Question me. Question my motives.

After all this ... I forgive him, don't forget. Just forgive, after all ... she was pretty hot.

    Lyrics
I don't want to play these games anymore.
I don't want to live by you're rules anymore
I just want to be what I'm supposed to be
I don't want to live by your rules anymore.

    It's just a little push
    It's just a little shove
    it's just a little

Twisted people twisted minds, I fucken running out of time
when you lie you do it oh so well
when you die you fucking go to hell

I remember my eight grade teacher.
Always making fun of Jim baker
And then she went and fucked the preacher

    Twisted people twisted minds
I'm fucking ruinning out of time.
when you die you fucking go to hell
    deeper in deeper out
stick it in chuck it out.

I can't percieve blidness comes to me
when you're around oh can't you see.

    It's just a little push,
    it's just a little shove
    it's just a little ...
