Story Behind the Song
I wrote this one on a snowy night in Rochester when I was longing for the
sunshine and reminiscing an adventure that took place during a spring
break trip I took to Florida week or two before. A bar named Patims that my brother,
roomate, and an array of college friends went to would let you drink as
much as you could for 3 hours for only 5 bucks. It was called "drink and
drown" night. Anyway, that night we drank kamikazes, and I wrote this song upon returning home.
