From Partita No. 2 in D min. by J.S. Bach, after an arrangement for keyboard by Brahms. |

Story Behind the Song
This performance was done using a keyboard coupled with a breath controller. The sounds are synthetically generated using a computer. In a way one can think of this as a violin that is blown, rather than bowed. Using a keyboard and breath controller, as opposed to a wind controller, allows one to correctly handle the double stops. It also as makes possible greater polyphony than possible with a violin. The key velocity was also used to control the sharpness of note attack(soft touches for legato). I needed to record it in many sections, as the music was not originally written with breaths in mind. The blowing was quite exhasting!
