	Story Behind the Song I was looking down at the dark still waters from the Tar River bridge one day, thinking something like "Whoever said that rivers roll never got a look at this sucker." This was recorded live at "Pirate Underground" East Carolina University, on 1/26/02. The audience really seemed to relate to this song--East Carolina Students were among those displaced by the flood of '99. Lyrics whoever said that rivers roll never took themselves to stroll along Tar River Tar River does not roll. whoever said that rivers flow never took a look below Tar River Bridge Tar River does not flow.
