By far the most commercial sounding song in our repertoire. Smooth vocals set to a simple drumline and multiple clean guitar tracks. A good amount of "cheese" but with a graceful improv'd guitar solo that descends into a redeeming "out of left field" heavy ending. As with any ballad, either love it or hate it. |

Story Behind the Song
With it's alternative feel and heart-felt lyrics about depression, this is the song long hailed as the "made for radio" song within the band the and was chosen as a good song for the recording studio. The smooth to heavy lead vocals was a one-shot deal. You can even hear the first scream overload the mic. With not enough time to polish back-up vocals, a dissappearing bassist, and an accidental deletion of the guitar solo, another song that came out just under the wire sounding pretty damn good considering.
