	Story Behind the Song Back in the fall of 1991, Gutboy was rehearsing for their first live performance when in walked some of the guys from the other band we were sharing the practice space with. The singer was blown away with the song we were playing and asked what it was called. Tom replied: "Ballad of a heroin addict"... A year or so later, the same song title (in Acronym form) appeared on the band's record, so we wrote 'The Grundig' in response to seeing that... All in good fun!!!! Lyrics "I am a heroin addict... somebody kill me..." ---- "Don't steal Gutboy song titles, don't steal Gutboy songs!"...
